Soft Socks, Silver Glitter Bots & Schibot Sock Blanks

 

 

Hello everybody,

Spring is just around the corner and I am already dreaming of ice cream, sitting outside and enjoying the sun. That's probably the reason why I have THREE new colourways for you, which are all very springlike :-)

 

The first one (top left) is called “Marelle“ and it is inspired by a type of ice cream you can get in our little town. It's made of mascarpone and peach and it is super delicious.

 

The second one (top right) is my version of a “Mermaid“. A fabulous creature has to get fabulous colours, right?

 

The last one (bottom) is pink and blue and lilac and it is called “Marshmallow Fluff“. Thanks to everyone on Instagram who helped me to find a name for this colourway!

 

All these three colourways are dyed up on my SOFT SOCKS base. Marshmallow Fluff will also be available on my SILVER GLITTER BOTS because a girly colourway needs a girly yarn base, too :-)

 

 

Hallo zusammen,

der Frühling rückt immer näher und ich träume schon vom ersten Eis, draußen zu sitzen und die Sonne zu genießen. Das ist wahrscheinlich der Grund warum ich für euch DREI neue Färbungen habe, die allesamt sehr frühlingshaft sind :-)

Die erste (oben links) heißt "Marelle" und bei ihr dachte ich an eine Eiscremesorte, die man hier in unserer kleinen Stadt bekommen kann. Diese ist mit Mascarpone und Pfirsich gemacht und schmeckt super lecker.

Die zweite (oben rechts) is meine Version einer Meerjungsfrau und trägt daher den Namen "Mermaid". Ein märchenhaftes Wesen muss doch solche Farben haben, oder nicht?

Die letzte (unten) ist pink und blau und fliederfarben und nennt sich "Marshmallow Fluff". An dieser Stelle ein großes Dankeschön and jeden auf Instagram, der mir geholfen hat für diese Färbung einen Namen zu finden!

Diese drei Färbungen sind alle auf meiner SOFT SOCKS Basis gefärbt. Nur Marshmallow Fluff gibt es außerdem auch auf meinen SILVER GLITTER BOTS - denn diese Mädchenfarben müssen auch auf eine mädchenhafte Garnqualität :-)

I love this yarn base and I am so happy that you love it, too! Sometimes you just need sparkling yarn!

There is one thing that will go online tomorrow: Three new SCHIBOT SOCKS BLANKS!!! A handpainted one and two gradients. Each of my sock blanks is unique and can't be repeated.

The handpainted one (top row) has grey stripes and pink hearts and dots. You can definitely use it to make a pair of socks. The socks won't be identical twins, but you will have "matching" socks that belong together.

The first gradient (middle row) starts with light blue, turns into a dark blue, moves through lilac into purple and then into pink. A shawl! I can see a beautiful shawl, maybe combined with a second colour :-)

The last one (bottom row) is a gradient I really love. It begins with green that gets lighter and lighter until it is finally white. This white turns into a light blue and then into a bright blue. It's beautiful, isn't it?

Eine Sache gibt es noch, die morgen online gehen wird: Drei neue SCHIBOT SOCK BLANKS!!! Einer ist handbemalt, die anderen zwei sind Farbverläufe. Jeder meiner Sock Blanks ist einzigartig und kann nicht nachgefärbt werden.

Der handbemalte Blank (obere Reihe) hat graue Streifen und pinke Herzen und Punkte. Daraus kann man definitiv ein schönes Paar Socken machen. Dabei werden zwar keine identischen Zwillinge entstehen, aber am Ende hat man doch "zusammenpassende" Socken, die zusammen gehören.

Der erste Farbverlauf (mittlere Reihe) startet hellblau, geht in ein Dunkelblau über, wird fliederfarben, dann lila und endet schließlich rosapink. Ein Tuch! Ich kann ein wunderschöner Tuch sehen, vielleicht mit einer anderen Farbe kombiniert :-)

Der letzte Blank (untere Reihe) ist ein Farbverlauf, den ich wirklich sehr mag. Er beginnt mit einem leuchtenden Grün, wird immer heller und schließlich weiß. Dieses Weiß wird dann hellblau, immer dunkler und am Ende kommt ein strahlendes Blau. Wunderschön, nicht wahr?

Und das war es auch schon. Ich hoffe, ihr mögt, was ich fürs morgige Shopupdate vorbereitet habe :-)
