Beim dieswöchigen Shopupdate gibt es Soft Socks, Bot Socks und meine neue Garnbasis: Soft DK ♥

Hallo alle zusammen,

im dieswöchigen Shopupdate findet ihr viel Sockenwolle und eine neue Garnbasis, in die ich richtig verliebt bin.

Lasst uns mit den Soft Socks beginnen. Diese Woche habe ich nur zwei Färbungen für euch und ich denke, die beiden passen ziemlich gut zusammen. Links seht ihr Wild Rose, rechts Bittersweet.

Wild Rose ist eine meiner Lieblingsfärbungen und ich habe sie für meine kostenlose Anleitung Easy Peasy Socks verwendet - vielleicht habt ihr daran ja Interesse?

In this week's shop update you will find lots of sock yarn and a new yarn base, I am really in love with.

Let's begin with my Soft Socks base. This week I have only two colourways for you and I think they look beautiful together. On the left you can see Wild Rose, on the right Bittersweet.

Wild Rose is one of my favourite colourways and I used it for my free pattern Easy Peasy Socks - maybe you are interested in it?

Außerdem habe ich sechs Färbungen auf meinen Bot Socks gefärbt.

Auf der linken Seite seht ihr (von oben nach unten): Atlanta, Finsternis und eine ooak-Färbung, die nicht wiederholt werden kann.

Rechts haben wir (auch von oben nach unten): Beach Party, Blue Dream und Mermaid.

Ich denke, man kann sehen, auf welche Farben ich im Moment so stehe :-) Viele Blau- und Mintgrüntöne und ein bisschen Lila und Pink - all diese Färbungen könnte man wunderbar in Kombination mit Finsternis verwenden - oder was meint ihr?

Und da es draußen wärmer wird, möchtet ihr euch vielleicht Sommersocken stricken. Letztes Jahr habe ich zwei Anleitungen veröffentlich: Lacy Summer Sneaker Socks und Schibot Summer Socks. Ihr könnt sie beide kostenlos herunterladen. Viel Freude beim Nachstricken!

I also dyed up six colourways on my Bot Socks base.

On the left side you can see (from top to bottom): Atlanta, Finsternis and a one of a kind colourway which is not repeatable.

On the right side there are (from top to bottom): Beach Party, Blue Dream and Mermaid.

I think you can see what colours I am into right now :-) Many shades of blue and mint green and a bit of purples and pinks - all of them could be used in combination with Finsternis - or what do you think?

And as it gets warmer outside, you might want to knit sommer socks. Last year I released two patterns: Lacy Summer Sneaker Socks and Schibot Summer Socks. You can download both patterns for free. Have fun knitting!

Und jetzt ist es an der Zeit, über meine neue Garnqualität zu reden! Sie heißt Soft DK und wenn ihr meine Soft Socks mögt, dann ist das definitiv die richtige Wolle in DK-Stärke für euch!

Soft DK ist die dickere Version meiner Soft Socks. Es ist ein 6-fach Garn und ein 150g Strang hat eine Lauflänge von 390m aus superweicher 80% Merinowolle (superwash) und 20% Polyamid. Mit nur 19.5 Mikron ist die Wolle so kuschlig, dass sie angenehm auf der Haut zu tragen ist. Diese Garnbasis kann man für wirklich fast alles verwenden: ein Paar dicke Socken, Cardigans, Pullover, Schals, Handschuhe, Mützen - was immer euch gefällt :-)

Da euch die Färbungen, die ich vor zwei Wochen auf meinen Soft Socks gefärbt hatte, so gut gefallen haben, dachte ich, euch könnten diese Farben - die einfach herrlich zusammen passen - auch auf dieser Garnqualität interessieren: Finsternis, Take it easy, Druid und Desert Storm.

And now it is time to talk about my new yarn base! It is called Soft DK and if you love my Soft Socks base, this one is the right DK weight yarn for you!

Soft DK is the thicker version of my Soft Socks. It is a 6ply yarn and one 150g skein has 390m (427 yards) of super soft 80% merino extrafine (superwash) and 20% polyamide. With only 19.5 microns, it feels soft and pleasant against bare skin.

You can use this yarn base for almost everything: a pair of thick socks, cardigans, sweaters, scarves, mittens, hats - whatever you like :-)

Since you were so excited about the colourways I had dyed up for you on my Soft Socks base two weeks ago, I thought you might like these colours - which go very well together - also on this base: Finsternis, Take it easy, Druid and Desert Storm.
