2019: Shop Update #42

Hallo meine Lieben,

wer den Blogpost von vor ein paar Wochen gelesen hat, weiß mittlerweile, dass ich das Färben auf ein paar Garnqualitäten leider aufgeben muss. Stichwort Brexit. Darunter fällt auch die Merino 100% DK, mit der ich mein Soldotna Crop, die Brioche Brim Beanie, den Dipsy Doodle Scarf, meinen A Twisted Little Raglan und auch meinen Odyssey Shawl, gestrickt habe. Also habe ich Anfang der Woche alle Bestände dieser Garnbasis gefärbt. Morgen also das letzte Shopupdate mit der Merino 100% DK.

Da es im Shop noch einige mehrfarbige Stränge gibt, habe ich nur einfarbige Färbungen für morgen, damit ihr ganz viele Kombinationmöglichkeiten habt. Zwölf Färbungen - siehe Collage - gehen morgen online.

Ich selbst liebäugle momentan sehr damit, mir ein zweites Soldotna Crop von Caitlin Hunter zu stricken. Dieses Mal mit langen Ärmeln für den Winter. Eigentlich dachte ich an Beerentöne (mit den Farben in der dritten Reihe der Collage), aber dann ist mir aufgefallen, dass ich exakt diese Färbungen schon für den Breathing Space Pulli verwendet habe :)

Jetzt schwanke ich zwischen herbstlichen Farben und einer blaugrauen Variante. Und da ich weiß, dass viele von euch auch das Soldotna Crop stricken möchten, warte ich jetzt mal ab, für welche vier Färbungen ihr euch entscheidet - vielleicht schau ich mir eure Wahl einfach ab ;)

Hello everybody,

if you read the blog post from a few weeks ago, you now know that I have to give up a few of my yarn bases. Keyword Brexit. This includes the Merino 100% DK, with which I knitted my Soldotna Crop, the Brioche Brim Beanie, the Dipsy Doodle Scarf, my A Twisted Little Raglan and also my Odyssey Shawl. So earlier this week I dyed all the stocks of this yarn base. Tomorrow is the last shop update with my beloved Merino 100% DK.

Since there are still some multicoloured and speckled skeins in the shop, I have only solid colourways for tomorrow, so that you have quite a lot of combination possibilities. Twelve colours - see collage - will be online tomorrow.

At the moment I really would like to knit myself a second Soldotna Crop designed by Caitlin Hunter. This time with long sleeves for the winter. Actually I was thinking about berry tones (with the colours in the third row of the collage), but then I noticed that I already used exactly these colours for the Breathing Space sweater :)

Now I'm wavering between autumn colours and a blue-gray version. And since I know that many of you also want to knit the Soldotna Crop, I'll wait and see which four colours you choose - maybe I'll get inspired by your choice ;)
