Hallo ihr Lieben,

wenn ihr in meinen Kleiderschrank schaut, werdet ihr eine Farbe dort nicht finden: Blau. Ich weiß nicht genau warum, aber Blau gehört einfach nicht zu meinen Lieblingsfarben. Dachte ich zumindest, denn momentan bin ich von dieser Farbe umgeben und begeistert von ihr.

Aktuell arbeite ich an einem neuen Design für einen Pullover. Wer mir auf Instagram folgt, hat dort schon einige Bilder gesehen und weiß, dass ich ziemlich aufgeregt bin, da es sich um meine erste Anleitung für einen Pullover handeln wird. Dafür verwende ich meine Merino 100% ARAN in den Farben Turquoise pour moi, Naturschönheit und Rehaugen. Diese Kombination fiel mir beim Auffüllen der Shopregale zufällig in die Hände und sie gefiel mir so gut, dass ich daraus unbedingt einen Pullover für die kalten Wintertage haben wollte.

Also setzte ich mich hin, entwarf meine Idee auf Papier und siehe da, bis jetzt scheint alles perfekt zu passen! Wann es die Anleitung geben wird, kann ich euch noch nicht sagen, aber es wird schon noch einige Wochen dauern, bis meine Teststrickerinnen und ich Resultate liefern können und ich mich dann an das Editieren machen kann. Haltet einfach die Augen offen, wenn euch dieses Design gefällt ;)

if you look in my wardrobe, you won't find one colour there: Blue. I don't know exactly why, but blue is just not one of my favourite colours. At least I thought so, because at the moment I am surrounded by this colour and enthusiastic about it.

I'm currently working on a new design for a sweater. Those who follow me on Instagram have already seen some pictures there and know that I am quite excited, because it will be my first pattern for a sweater. I am using my Merino 100% ARAN in the colourways Turquoise pour moi, Naturschönheit and Rehaugen. This combination fell into my hands by chance while filling the shop shelves and I liked it so much that I wanted a sweater for the cold winter days in these colours.

So I sat down, designed my idea on paper and so far everything seems to fit perfectly! I can't tell you yet when the pattern will be available, but it will be a few weeks before my test knitters and I can deliver results and then start editing. Just keep your eyes open if you like this design ;)

 

Dann habe ich mir für das kommende Jahr ein neues Notizbuch bestellt. Es ist türkisfarben, also nicht wirklich blau, aber schon außerhalb meiner gewohnten Komfortzone. Doch irgendwie sprach mich die Farbe eben doch an.

Und dann musste ich musste ich feststellen, dass man Inspiration wirklich überall finden kann. Denn ja, die Farbe des Notizbuchs hat mich tatsächlich zum Färben inspiriert und dabei sind zwei einzigartige, nicht wiederholbare ooak-Färbungen entstanden, die wirklich sehr gut miteinander harmonieren.

Diese beiden Farben könnte ich mir sehr gut für das Tuch Arinna oder Message in a Bottle vorstellen.

 

Then I ordered a new notebook for the coming year. It is turquoise, not really blue, but already outside my usual comfort zone. But somehow the colour appealed to me.

And then I had to realize that one can find inspiration really everywhere. Because yes, the colour of the notebook actually inspired me to dye and so two unique, non-repeatable ooak colourways were created, which really harmonise very well with each other.

I could imagine these two colours very well for the shawl Arinna or Message in a Bottle.

 

 

Natürlich kann ich euch ja nicht nur diese beiden Farben anbieten. Daher habe ich bei meinen regulären Färbungen geschaut und mir zwei ausgesucht, die wunderbar dazu passen: Villain und Druid.

Ich finde ja, dass alle vier zusammen eine herrliche Farbkombination sind, oder nicht? Vielleicht sogar für einen Pullover? Man könnte aber auch nur drei Farben davon miteinander kombinieren und daraus einen schönen Dipsy Doodle Scarf stricken.

Hach, ich muss jetzt aufhören, ich bekomme schon wieder zu viele neue Ideen :D Ich freue mich auf jeden Fall, wenn ihr morgen um 16.00 Uhr bei mir vorbeischaut!

Of course, I can't just offer you these two colours. Therefore I looked at my regular colourways and chose two that fit wonderfully: Villain and Druid.

I think that all four are a wonderful colour combination together, don't you? Maybe even for a sweater? But you could also combine only three colours and knit a pretty Dipsy Doodle Scarf.

Well, I have to stop now, I'm getting too many new ideas again :D I'm definitely looking forward to seeing you tomorrow at 4 pm!
