Three pairs of socks!

September_SocksHallo meine Lieben,

Nadine

November_SocksHello everybody,

November is over and so is the last month of autumn. Now I can show you my three pair  of socks from the Bot Socks Autumn Club!

For my September socks I decided to use the free Simple Skyp Socks by Adrienne Ku (Ravelry). A beautiful pattern that is also fun to knit. I used the contrasting colour for cuffs and toes. 9g of it were left, so I could have easily knitted red heels as well. But I like the socks as they are.

For the October socks it was clear to me that I would knit the Hello Autumn Socks. An autumnal pattern for the Autumn Club. Perfect, isn't it? Again I have exactly 9g left from the contrasting colour. I easily could have done the heels with that yarn as well.

For my November socks I wanted a pattern that reminded me of leaves. While searching I found the My Cup of Tea Socks by Robin Lynn (Ravelry, free of charge). Because I only knitted cuffs and toes in the contrasting colour for the first two pairs, I wanted to do the same with the third pair. And I am very happy with the result.

There's still plenty of yarn left. If I find time and desire, I will knit myself certainly scrappy socks out of it. After all, the colours all go well together.

December_SocksI also decided not to wear the socks. I will keep them for now and simply enjoy the look of fresh, ready-made socks!

And now it's December, and I already started the next pair of socks yesterday. I think for the Bot Socks Winter Club my focus will be on colour work and Fair Isle patterns. For my December socks I will use the chart from the Fair Isle Flower Sock by Candice DeWitt (Ravelry). They are flowers, but I think they also work as snowflakes :)

Since I'm actually already being asked when there will be the next club (that's the spring club for March, April and May), I have to tell you that you'll have to be patient a little bit longer. I think you can become a member of the club by the end of January.  Subscribe to my newsletter, then you won't miss a thing ;)

Have a nice Monday and enjoy the Advent season!

Nadine
