Hallo meine Lieben,

ich hoffe, ihr freut euch auf das morgige Shopupdate so sehr wie ich! Für morgen habe ich ganz viel Färbungen auf meinen beiden Lacegarnen für euch.

SILKY BFL LACE

Dieses traumhafe Garn habe ich benutzt, um mein Tegna von Caitlin Hunter zu stricken. Dazu habe ich zwei Farben genommen und die Fäden doppelt genommen, damit ich auf die angegebene Garnstärke komme. Mehr zu diesem Projekt hab ich schon mal hier auf dem Blog geschrieben.

Durch das Garn ist das Top richtig edel geworden. Der Seidenanteil schimmert so schön und Bluefaced Leicester Wolle hat einen schönen Fall, was bei diesem Oberteil mit der wunderschönen Lacebordüre natürlich perfekt ist. Ich kann mir gut vorstellen, dass ich dieses Garn nochmal auf diese Weise, also doppelfädig verwende, wenn eine Anleitung eigentlich nach Garn in fingering weight / Sockenwollstärke verlangt. Verwendet man zwei unterschiedliche Farben, hat man nämlich unendlich viele Möglichkeiten, die Farben miteinander zu kombinieren.

Morgen gibt es dann 12 verschiedene Farben auf dieser Garnqualität, die sich herrlich miteinander kombinieren lassen. Ob sommerlich, herbstlich, winterliche, klassisch oder elegant - ihr habt da wirklich sehr viele Möglichkeiten.

Oder ihr nehmt nur einen einzelnen Strang und strickt euch zum Beispiel das unglaublich beeindruckende Tuch Aeolian Shawl von Elizabeth Freeman, mit dem ihr sicherlich alle Blicke auf euch ziehen werdet.

Silky BFL Lace, ein edles Garn, das sich herrlich verstricken lässt! Dieses Jahr werde ich dieses Garn ganz sicher nicht mehr färben. Ich habe alle Bestände aufgebraucht. Auftragsfärbungen auf dieser Basis sind nicht mehr möglich und ich kann nicht sagen, ob ich diese Qualität nochmal nachbestelle. Stichwort Brexit. So sehr ich dieses Garn liebe! Also, zögert nicht, vielleicht war das das letzte Mal, dass ihr diese Wolle bei mir seht.

I hope you're looking forward to tomorrow's shop update as much as I am! For tomorrow I have lots of colourways on both of my lace yarns for you.

SILKY BFL LACE

I used this fantastic yarn base to knit my Tegna by Caitlin Hunter. I took two different colours and doubled the threads so that I could get the yarn weight recommended. I have already written more about this project here on the blog.

The yarn made the top really elegant. The silk content shimmers so beautifully and Bluefaced Leicester wool has a nice drape, which is of course perfect for this top with the beautiful lace border. I can well imagine that I will use this yarn again in this way, i.e. double-threaded, when a pattern actually requires yarn in fingering weight / sock yarn weight. If you use two different colours, you have infinite possibilities to combine the colours.

Tomorrow there will be 12 different colours on this yarn base, which can beautifully be combined with each other. Whether summery, autumnal, wintery, classic or elegant - you really have many possibilities.

Or you can just take a single skein and knit yourself, for example, the incredibly impressive Aeolian Shawl by Elizabeth Freeman, with which you will certainly attract all the attention.

Silky BFL Lace, a luxurious yarn that is wonderfully to work with! This year I will certainly not dye this yarn again. I have used up all my stocks. Custom orders for this baseare no longer possible and I cannot say whether I will order this yarn again. Keyword Brexit. As much as I love this yarn! So don't hesitate, maybe this will be the last time you will see this yarn in my shop.

LACY MERINO SINGLES

Mein zweites Lacegarn, ein wunderbares Singlegarn aus weicher Merinowolle und 800m Lauflänge, lässt sich natürlich genauso verwenden: doppelter Faden, einzeln verstrickt, Farben kombinieren, ganz wie ihr wollt :)

Ein aktuelles Projekt kann ich euch mit diesem Garn leider nicht zeigen, dafür aber ein sehr altes, das ich aus einem Singlelacegarn gestrickt habe. Das war 2015, da hatte ich diese Garnqualität noch gar nicht im Shop. Aber diese Anleitung kann ich nur empfehlen und der Begonia Swirl von Carfield Ma ist sehr beliebt, kostenlos und in vielen Sprachen erhältlich.

Auch hier gehen morgen 12 verschiedene Farben online. Da ich leider nie dazu gekommen bin, mir etwas Schönes mit dieser Wolle zu stricken (abgesehen von einem Probestück, als ich die Wolle ins Programm aufnahm), überlege ich, ob ich nicht zwei Stränge für mich behalte und mir daraus einen Sara Lace Cardigan von Vera Sanon stricke. Denn auch bei dieser Garnbasis, habe ich alle Bestände aufgebraucht und auch hier sag ich nur Brexit.

Also, plant eure Projekte und sichert euch die vielleicht letzten Stränge dieser beiden traumhaften Garnqualitäten. Ich wünsche euch morgen viel Spaß beim Stöbern ♥

LACY MERINO SINGLES

My second lace yarn, a wonderful single play yarn made of soft merino wool and 800m / 875 yards, can of course be used in the same way: double thread, individually knitted, combine colours as you like :)

Unfortunately I can't show you a current project with this yarn, but a very old one, which I knitted using a single ply lace yarn. That was in 2015. At that time I didn't have this yarn base in my shop yet. But I can only recommend this pattern and the Begonia Swirl by Carfield Ma is very popular, free and available in many languages.

Also here 12 different colours will go online tomorrow. Since I never got the chance to knit something nice with this yarn (apart from a sample when I introduced it into my range), I'm thinking about keeping two skeins for myself to make myself a Sara Lace Cardigan by Vera Sanon. Also with this yarn base, I have used up all stocks and also here I just say Brexit.

So, plan your projects and get the maybe last skeins of these two fantastic yarns. I wish you lots of fun browsing tomorrow ♥
