We want to make the Advent season extra special this year. In this year's Advent calendar you can expect 24 mini skeins in 24 unique, solid colourways, dyed on a very special yarn base: Silver Glitter Bots! After all, we want to make the pre-Christmas season sparkle and this yarn with its glittery Stellina content is of course just the right choice for that!
But that was by no means all! The 24 mini skeins weigh 10g each and have a yardage of 40m each. In total, the advent calendar contains 240g with 960 yardage. You can knit or crochet a lot of things with it! And the best thing about it are the unique colours, because by combining them you can create a rainbow with soft colour transitions. And where you start the rainbow is up to you, because no matter where you start, the last colour will match the first.
And to make it extra Christmassy for you, this year's minis come in a beautiful Advent Calendar: 24 little bags filled with the minis hang with clothes pegs on a felt string, which you can hang up everywhere your Advent Calendar brings you special joy.
What you want to do with all those minis is up to you. There are many patterns on the web on how to turn mini skeins into something beautiful. Knit one mini a day into a shawl, collect and sort them to knit yourself a beautiful striped jumper or use the Advent Socks pattern to knit an advent calendar for next year. The possibilities are endless!
