What makes our Balance so special? Answer: the perfect blend of merino wool and Lyocell (Tencel):
- All our merino wool is of course mulesing-free! Mulesing-free means that the painful mulesing process is not used to obtain the wool. Mulesing involves removing folds of skin from the tails of merino sheep without anaesthetic. All our yarns come exclusively from sheep from species-appropriate husbandry, where this cruel practice is not practised.
- Tencel is sustainably produced from wood fibres, is climate regulating and is particularly pleasant to the skin. It makes the yarn extra soft and gives it a wonderful shine - it therefore has many properties in common with silk.

100% biodegradable combination of 60% virgin wool (Merino extrafine) and 40% Lyocell (Tencel) - Balance comes without plastic!
And it gets even better: Tencel has the property of being able to absorb a lot of water and lead it directly away from the body. This prevents the formation of bacteria and unpleasant odours. The smooth, cool surface not only feels wonderful on the sking, it is also comparable to silk in terms of comfort and shine.
