I have set up a dyeing studio at home. There I dye away from people and animals. I use professional acid dyes and citric acid to set the colours.
I use various dyeing techniques: kettle-dye, dip-dye and self-developed dyeing techniques.
Schibot Garne now has numerous repeatable colourways in its range, including entire collections on specific themes, such as Halloween or fairy tales. Due to this large number of colourways and yarn bases coupled with the high demand, it is almost impossible to always have them in the range. But there is always something to find!
Sometimes I also want to try out new techniques and colour combinations. I usually use yarn clubs for this, where I test new techniques, colourways and yarn bases. This pleasure is only available to a limited number of members. You should definitely subscribe to the newsletter if you don't want to miss out!
Important to know: I live in a cat-friendly home, but it is very important to me that the furry friends do not come into contact with the yarn from the dyeing process to the packing of the orders. The yarns are also not dried outside so that they do not trigger pollen allergies for knitters who suffer from hay fever. However, despite these efforts, I cannot guarantee that the yarns are 100% allergen-free.
