Sparkling Snowflake
by Schibot Garne - a knitting pattern for a pair of fingerless mitts, in German and English.
ABOUT THIS PATTERN:
I love fingerless mitts because they are incredibly handy in winter. You can easily fish out some money from your handbag for a cup of mulled wine at winter markets. I also love wearing them at work when the office is cold. These mitts are knit with our Silver Glitter Bots - a yarn base with stellina it that makes the snowflake sparkle.
I recommend to choose two semi-solid or tonal colourways which differ from each other as much as possible.
The pattern is written for knitting in the round using double pointed needles. There is a chart for the snowflake pattern and clear instructions that explain how to knit the thumb and its vertical stripes.
Important: This pattern does not explain how to knit Fair Isle but it gives you some tips how to knit with two colours at a time.
The pattern has seven pages - don't get discouraged by it. It is always very important to me that my patterns explain you everything very detailed and that you have the opportunity to tick off the steps you have already finished. The patterns gives you written instructions, tips and contains a chart.
When you purchase this pattern, you will receive a total of two pdf files (German and English), each eight DIN A 4 pages long.
