ABOUT THIS PATTERN:

Sometimes you just need a quick and easy project for in between, don't you?

That's how I felt when I had this hat in mind. I really wanted a soft, cosy hat for autumn and winter.

So I combined a soft sock yarn with a lace mohair yarn. If you double these two yarn types, the result is an elegant, fluffy knitted look. Combined with the casual design, this hat will quickly become a favourite!

So if you want to treat yourself to a quick sense of achievement that is also fun, or if you are looking for a last-minute gift, then this pattern is just the thing for you!

When you purchase this pattern, you will receive a total of two pdf files (German and English), each four DIN A 4 pages long.

GAUGE & SIZES:

• gauge:22 sts x 26 rds = 10x10cm / 4x4'' (stockinette, in the round)
• size: one size fits all adults (52-56cm / 20-22'' head circumference)

TECHNIQUES:

• knitting in the round (circulars and DPNs)
• knit and purl stitch
• knitting 2 stitches together

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: beginner

YARN: fingering + lace

•  ca. 50g Schibot Garne Soft Socks (400m/100g, 80% Merino extrafine, 20% Polyamid)
• ca. 20g Extraklasse (225m / 25g, 100% Kidmohair)

NEEDLES AND NOTIONS:

• 1x 3.0 mm (US 2.5) circulars with 40cm / 16'' cable
• 1x 4.0 mm (US 6) circulars with 40cm / 16'' cable
• 1x 4.0 mm (US 6) DPNs

• one stitch marker to mark the beginning of the round
• scissors
• darning needle
