Arinna, Knit Along, Infinito

Hallo meine Lieben,

kennt ihr das auch? Wenn jemand erfährt, dass ich stricke, dann denkt jeder, dass ich an Weihnachten ganz viele Paare handgestrickter Socken verschenke. Tu ich aber nicht, denn meistens verschenke ich gar nichts Gestricktes. Doch wenn ich von einer Person weiß, dass sie sich über etwas Selbstgemachtes wirklich freut, dann sind es Tücher, die ich verschenke. Denn die versteckt man nicht in Schuhen, die sieht jeder und deswegen gebe ich mir beim Planen eines solchen Projekts besondere Mühe: Welche Farben mag die Person? Passen die Farben zu der Garderobe? Mag es die Person eher verspielt und feminin? Sich solche Gedanken zu machen ist wichtig, denn schließlich steckt in einem Tuch doch ganz schön viel Arbeit und man möchte ja nicht, dass es am Ende in irgendeiner Schublade verstaubt.

Auf das Tuch Arinna, für das in meiner Ravelry Gruppe bis Ende Oktober noch der Knit Along mit tollen Preisen läuft, habe ich schon viel positive Resonanz bekommen. Manche mögen meinen Prototypen (Bild 1) in den Farben Autumn Walk und Bittersweet sehr. Ein sehr herbstliches Tuch, das einen an Spaziergänge im Wald erinnert :)

Andere hingegen mögen die Originalvariante (Bild 2) in Caramel Camel und Turquoise pour moi mehr, ein eher sommerliches Tuch, bei dem man an Sonne, Strand und Meer denken muss.

Für den Knit Along (Bild 3) habe ich zwei exklusive Clubfärbungen aus dem Jahre 2017 gewählt. Diese Rot- und Rosatöne machen das Tuch noch eine ganze Spur femininer und die Farben sehen edel aus, wenn man sie mit schwarzen und grauen Outfits kombiniert.

Ihr seht schon, eine Anleitung, doch durch die Farbwahl wirkt es jedes Mal komplett anders und ist jedes Mal ein Unikat. Und genau das macht ein Tuch als Geschenk zu etwas ganz Besonderem.

Vielleicht hast du ja Lust, Arinna nachzuarbeiten und einem lieben Menschen zu Weihnachten zu schenken? Da es mit meinen Silver Glitter Bots gestrickt wird, passt es auch sehr gut zu diesem festlichen Anlass. do you know that too? When someone finds out that I knit, everyone thinks that I give away a lot of pairs of hand knitted socks at Christmas. But I don't, because mostly I don't give anything knitted at all. But when I know from a person that he or she would be really happy about something that I made, then it is shawls that I give away. Because you don't hide them in shoes, everyone sees them and that's why I make a special effort when planning such a project: Which colours does the person like? Do the colours match the wardrobe? Does the person like it more feminine? It's important to think like that, because after all, there's a lot of work to be done in a shawl and you don't want it to end up getting dusty in some drawer.

I have already received a lot of positive feedback on the Arinna shawl, for which in my Ravelry group is still running the Knit Along with great prizes until the end of October. Some people like my prototype (picture 1) in the colourways Autumn Walk and Bittersweet very much. A very autumnal shawl that reminds you of walks in the forest :)

Others like the original version (picture 2) in Caramel Camel and Turquoise pour moi more, a rather summery shawl where you have to think about sun, beach and sea.

For the Knit Along (picture 3) I chose two exclusive club colourways from 2017. These shades of red and pink make the shawl even more feminine and the colours look noble when combined with black and grey outfits.

You see, one pattern, but through the choice of colours it looks completely different and is unique every time. And that's exactly what makes a shawl a very special gift.

Maybe you would like to knit Arinna and give it to a loved one at Christmas? Since it is knitted with my Silver Glitter Bots, it also fits very well to this festive occasion. Ja, ihr seht schon, ich bin ein wenig im Tuchfieber :-) Und ausgerechnet dann bringt Atelier Zitron ein neues Garn auf den Markt. Und was für ein Garn!

Infinito heißt die Wolle und die ist wirklich ein absoluter Traum ♥ 100% Merino extrafein auf 500m pro 100g mit nur 19 Mikron - also butterweich! Dank einer außergewöhnlichen Färbetechnik verfügt jede der fünf Farben über einen fließenden Farbverlauf. Dieses Garn schreit doch danach zu einem Tuch verarbeitet zu werden, oder nicht? Gisela Klöpper hat für die Infinito ein asymmetrisches Dreieckstuch entworfen, für das man einen Strang des Garns sowie eine 3.5mm Rundstricknadel benötigt.

Yes, you see, I'm currently a little bit addicted to shawl knitting :-) And just then Atelier Zitron launches a new yarn base on the market. And what a yarn!

It is is called Infinito and it really is an absolute dream ♥ 100% Merino extrafine with 500m per 100g with only 19 microns - so soft as butter! Thanks to an extraordinary dyeing technique, each of the five colours has a smooth colour gradient. This yarn really want to be a shawl, doesn't it? Gisela Klöpper has designed an asymmetrical triangular shawl for the Infinito that requires only one skein of yarn and a 3.5mm circular needle.

And now the great thing! Soon there will be this gorgeous yarn in my shop - and whoever buys this yarn will also get the guide for free on request (only available in German)!
